About Hear of Her

Hear of Her began as place to write and discuss all things sex, romance, and erotic with the goal to express and explore women’s sexual experiences.

Since then, our little team of three strive to publish the literature we love. Sex, power, pleasure… We love it all.

We champion women’s voices and women’s sexuality. We love to read stories about women’s pleasure and we want to hear yours.

Meet the Team

  • Georgia Sanderson

    FOUNDER, CEO

    Raised in the Pennines, Georgia now lives in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire. She is currently studying an MA in Publishing at York St. John University, having graduated from the University of Leicester in 2024 with a BA in English with Creative Writing.

    Georgia previously lived in Leiden, Holland. She is the inaugural recipient of the Belvoir Prize for Poetry 2022, and her poem Wind is published in The International Leicester Literary Review 2024.

    “I am obsessed with all things literary. You will often find me with my nose in a book, sometimes literally! […] I love a steamy romance - particularly from the fantasy genre or something darker in nature - the hotter the better!

    I have always been very sex-positive and have dabbled in erotic poetry and prose in the past, and that is what I want to publish! Tell me all your sexy stories - I wish to hear them all!”

  • Abbey McKenna

    CO-FOUNDER, DIRECTOR

    Abbey is an MA Publishing student at York St. John University who recently completed her undergraduate degree in Creative Writing and English Literature.

    When she’s not devouring novels late at night, Abbey can be seen passing time in cute cafés, visiting local markets and spending far too much money in bookshops. She reads a wide range of novels from eerie horrors to passionate erotica, and writes novels of a similar manner. Anything with a bit of tension is a must-read for her!

  • Hannah Denwood

    CO-FOUNDER, DIRECTOR

    Hannah is an MA Publishing and Creative Writing student and recently completed an undergraduate degree in English Language and Linguistics.

    Hannah moved to York in 2022 from Cumbria, in the Lake District - and enjoys long walks, watching daytime quiz shows, and making her own clothes. Since 2018, she has written over 225,000 words on an online fanfiction site and amassed over 300,000 hits. Her favourite genres are historical romance and cosy murder mysteries, and this is the year she plans to finally complete her Goodreads reading challenge. 

    “I have been active in the online fanfiction community since I was a 12 year old and I have nothing but intentions to honour her habits of writing erotica in notebooks during lessons.
